Since 2014, Margaret River Region Open Studios has designed, coordinated, and promoted a free annual open art studios event that celebrates the region’s increasingly diverse and vibrant arts scene.
The event has grown to become the largest of its kind in Australia and, in 2024, was honoured with the prestigious Gold Award for Festivals & Events by Tourism WA, as well as a Silver Award from the Qantas Australian Tourism Awards.
The twelfth Open Studios event will take place from 13 to 28 September 2025, once again offering art lovers a rare opportunity to visit private studios, meet artists, and see works in progress.
Margaret River Region Open Studios Inc is a not-for-profit organisation governed by a committee of professionals, artists, volunteers, and contracted personnel, all working together to promote the Arts throughout the region.
